Blastball | 4 yr olds

Blastball introduces boys and girls to the game of baseball. The focus at this level is to promote fun and enjoyment in an entirely non-competitive environment. Great steps are taken to ensure that the child achieves success on a small scale, whereby skills can gradually be introduced and mastered in future years.

Who can play?

Boys and girls “league age” 4 years old who have never played organized baseball before.

The Age Determination Date for a Little League Baseball player is the actual age of a child as of August 31 of the current year.  Use this Age Calculator to determine your child’s league age.

What equipment is required?

  • Glove
  • Helmet with chinstraps or a fitted helmet
  • Running shoes or cleats
  • Athletic pants or shorts
  • All players will receive a t-shirt style jersey and hat that's theirs to keep!

Parent Expectations

About Langley Baseball:

Langley Baseball Association has over 50 years’ experience as a Little League ball club.
We’re proud to have sent many teams over the years to the Provincials, Nationals and World Championships, including the 2011 World Series Championship in Williamsport, VA, and our participation in the 2000 17-18 district-based team who also took the World Championships.
Visitors to the area enjoy our urban/rural community of Langley that has an inspiring mix of cosmopolitan amenities and abundance of scenic farmland with outdoor recreational pursuits.
The club has a dedicated volunteer base that’s skilled, enthusiastic and hard-working. They’ve been the heart of the club for over 50 years, holding the vision and creating the positive, enriching environment for our kids. Many of our current coaches grew up playing in the league. Our kids are the life of the club. Each athlete has a passion for the game and discovers personal growth and confidence when they take their spot on the field.
