Tournament Baseball at Langley Baseball Association!

Part of post season baseball is the opportunity to host and play in tournaments!

Tournament baseball is an exciting and rewarding experience for players who are committed and enthusiastic about baseball.

Registration for post season teams will take place near the end of our spring season. Our post season evaluation sign up will be made available to all players.

Player Commitment

Playing post season baseball is a privilege, not a right. Players and families will be required to make significant time commitments.

Each of the post season teams will require players to be available from the end of the regular season to the end of July. For the District teams, availability could extend to late August should the team advance to Provincials, Nationals and the Little League World Series.

Between practices, exhibition games, and tournaments, players can expect to be at the ballpark 4 to 5 times a week.

Fees

Once selected to a post season team, a player fee will be required. The amount will depend on what tournaments the team enters in, the location of those tournaments, and the team swag provided. The fee will not cover travel or hotel costs.

Player Selection

No player has made any team. Players/families should not have the impression that they have secured a position on any post season team.

Langley Baseball has an evaluation process and players will be chosen after they attend and complete an evaluation.

Players who are selected for Post Season teams will be notified.

Coach Selection

Coaches interested in head/assistant coaching one of the post season teams must submit an application form.

Once all applications are received, the Coach Selection Committee will meet to choose the coaching teams.

We couldn't do it without our amazing sponsors

About Langley Baseball:

Langley Baseball Association has over 50 years’ experience as a Little League ball club.
We’re proud to have sent many teams over the years to the Provincials, Nationals and World Championships, including the 2011 World Series Championship in Williamsport, PA, and our participation in the 2000 17-18 district-based team who also took the World Championships.
Visitors to the area enjoy our urban/rural community of Langley that has an inspiring mix of cosmopolitan amenities and abundance of scenic farmland with outdoor recreational pursuits.
The club has a dedicated volunteer base that’s skilled, enthusiastic and hard-working. They’ve been the heart of the club for over 50 years, holding the vision and creating the positive, enriching environment for our kids. Many of our current coaches grew up playing in the league. Our kids are the life of the club. Each athlete has a passion for the game and discovers personal growth and confidence when they take their spot on the field.
