Little League International has officially cancelled the 2020 Regional and World Series in ALL divisions for both Softball and Baseball.
THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT OUR BASEBALL SEASON WILL BE CANCELLED.
We are governed by our Local and Provincial Health officers and Provincial and Local Governments. We are proceeding with the assumption of a postponed season which may go into the summer. This may include the possibility of a baseball post-season as district and local tournaments are still being encouraged by Little League International.
We are currently awaiting instructions from our Provincial Health Officer and Local Governments to make decisions regarding our season. If our season does commence, we will be UNDER SOME MODIFIED RULES and the way we operate will be assessed to address the situations we face in baseball to make it safe for all guests and players.
The current closure remains in place until May 11, 2020 at which time we will re-evaluate the possibility of a start date. This will solely be based on information we have at that time. The current closure will likely be extended until the BC Phasing Plan includes sporting events. This will depend on the Public Health and Provincial Government’s decisions. There continues to be some hope of a season as outdoor activities look to take a higher priority to commence as opposed to indoor sporting events.

Please note, at this time we have amended our refund policy. Covid-19 has forced our league to delay our season 2 weeks prior to commencement. We are still hopeful of a season, and ask for your patience until we have more information. We will continue to update everyone as more information becomes available.
