Evaluations for 2010 season
- 9/10 and 11/12 divisions

Evaluations for all teams will now be held as follows:

ALL PLAYERS, BOTH MAJOR AND MINOR, ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THESE SESSIONS SO THAT AN EVALUATION OF EVERY PLAYER CAN BE COMPLETED. THIS WILL ASSIST THE LEAGUE IN MAKING AN EQUITABLE ALLOCATION OF THE MINOR PLAYERS POOL AFTER THE MAJOR DRAFT.

Langley Baseball operates both a Majors and Minors division for both these age groups.

The Minors division is a great house program for players who want to play baseball but can only commit to  1-2 games and 1-2 practices per week. This division is ideal for players that are still developing skills and desire a less competitive environment.

The Majors division is for more experienced players who can commit to 2-3 games + 2-3 practice times per week. Players should enjoy a competitive environment and be dedicated to improving their skills and game strategy.

Any player who wants to play in the Tier 2 Major division must attend at least TWO evaluation session.

We will not be having a separate pitching or catching evaluation.

The evaluation will consist of 5 different activities and will take one hour.
Your player needs to arrive 30 min before evaluation time to register and warm up.

Please note the following:

  • All players require helmets, glove, jock (cup) or Jill.
  • Running shoes for Lacrosse Box.
  • Wear usual baseball attire or sweatpants. Wear layers of shirts in case it is cold but be sure to wear a long sleeve T-shirt under all to help keep arms warm.
